About the Author
Mr. Mim Landry is the Director of Medical and Science Communication at Danya. He has over 20 years’ experience in public and behavioral health, with focused expertise in addiction treatment and prevention, mental health treatment, drugs of abuse, and health communication.
He has written more than 25 journal articles, 25 chapters, and more than 40 online courses, curricula, guides, monographs, or books, including his book Understanding Drugs of Abuse: The Processes of Addiction, Treatment, and Recovery, published by the American Psychiatric Press.
For Danya, Mr. Landry has written or co-authored several online courses on behavioral health and public health issues and is a co-author of Living in Balance: A Comprehensive Substance Abuse Treatment and Relapse Prevention Manual. Mr. Landry is the former Director of Training and Education at the Haight-Ashbury Free Clinics in San Francisco.
