CASE STUDIESIntroductionThis module consists of a series of case studies designed to help reinforce your knowledge regarding the use of buprenorphine and to help some of the clinical issues come to life. These five brief case studies will address the following issues: special populations, patient assessment and selection, clinical management, and buprenorphine/naloxone dosing. For each of the case studies, you will be presented with a clinical scenario followed by a series of questions. We encourage you to first review the questions and develop what you believe is the most appropriate response. Once you have done so, review the answers that we have provided. Note Regarding CME Units This module is provided as a free self-test and review tool. A CME posttest is not provided with this module and CME units are not attached to this module. It is provided free for your edification. |
