About Danya International

Danya International, Inc., applies a research-driven approach to conceptualize, develop, and implement innovative behavior change solutions. Danya is a leader in behavioral health and public health technology transfer, especially in relation to substance abuse. Our staff includes experts in behavioral health, public health, health communication, research and policy analysis, and technology transfer. We have technical expertise in online training, curriculum development, social research, and multimedia production. We are committed to bringing research and technology to people to improve health, enhance well-being, and increase knowledge.

We are experts in evaluating substance abuse research and practice evidence, translating and preparing it for clinicians and other health care professionals, and delivering the information in ways that are the most appropriate for the audience and situation. These often involve multimedia production, conferences and trainings, and Internet-based solutions.

Danya developed Drugnet, a comprehensive resource on prevention, assessment, treatment, research, current news, and online training. For the Center for Substance Abuse Treatment, Danya managed an Addiction Technology Transfer Center and a Center for HIV, Hepatitis, and Addiction Training and Technology through which we sought to improve the quality and availability of information and resources through training and technology for addiction treatment professionals.

Danya developed the Drug and Alcohol Problem Assessment for Primary Care (DAPA-PC) under a contract from the National Institute on Drug Abuse. DAPA-PC is a comprehensive Internet-based screening system designed to identify and address substance abuse and related problems quickly in a primary care setting. DAPA-PC also includes an online course for primary care physicians called Conducting Substance Related Screenings and Brief Motivational Enhancement Interventions.
