Goals and Objectives
The primary goals of this course are to:

Increase your knowledge about welfare reform and the Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) program

Improve your skills to work with addiction treatment clients who participate in welfare reform and receive TANF

Increase your understanding of the Federal requirements of the TANF program and learn how your State has implemented the Federal requirements

Learn how to track clients' progress through the welfare reform system

Learn about fundamental issues that affect the lives of addicted clients participating in welfare

Learn about critical problems that will need to be faced and addressed by addiction professionals with welfare reform clients.
