The Next Two Modules

The following two modules provide information that addiction treatment professionals need to know about working with TANF clients who are in addiction treatment.

Module Two. This module provides information about the history and effectiveness of welfare reform and the roles of addiction treatment professionals who want to work with this program. The module includes detailed information about the key Federal requirements of TANF and guides you through a process to learn how your State has implemented these Federal requirements. Finally, the module will help you develop a TANF profile for addicted clients. This TANF profile will enable you to keep track of the progress of your client in the welfare reform system, especially in relation to the ticking clocks described earlier.

Module Three. This module will guide you through six issues that addiction treatment professionals are likely to encounter when working with TANF clients and provide strategies for addressing these issues. The module will also provide immediate access to additional information and resources to help you implement these strategies.

This is the end of Module One.   Please move to Module Two.
